Phil Spencer: New IPs over Remasters
Over the past few years we have had a decent amount of remasters, a few we can consider “remastered” but we can also say some were just copy and paste with a few texture change just so publishers can make a quick buck with a very little workforce.
The Head of Xbox Phil Spencer has been making some big changes to the Xbox One platform, I will admit this year he has amazed me. He and many others would like to bring a lot of 360 games to Xbox “lots of 360 games I’d like to bring to XB1” but instead of making remakes he wants to spend more time making new games (which we all like) then spending the time elsewhere remastering old games.
@Jonny_Athan Lots of 360 games I'd like to bring to XB1, only so much time and want to focus on making new games. Not easy tradeoffs.

Hopefully other publisher have the same thoughts of Spencer and prioritising to make new IP’s.
Do you guys prefer remasters of old games? Which is your favourite premastered game? Ours is Halo: Master Chief Collection and The Last Of Us.
