Dead or Alive 5: Last Round was one of the worst port ever, so bad that the Xbox 360 textures were ported over instead of the Xbox One texture. Including that all the features did not work such as Multiplayer and not much has changed since launch, which the developers announced that they will fix it end of June with that said its July and nothing has changed.

Finally the developer announced some bad news recently, the game is now undergoing a beta testing, and during the test they have found a “major issue” which has not delayed the online play.

Dead Or Alive 5 PC Multiplayer Delayed

“We are currently beta testing the update to add online functionality to DEAD OR ALIVE 5 Last Round on Steam. We originally announced that we would release the update by the end of June 2015. However, due to major issues found during the beta test, we will be postponing the release of the update.

We apologize for the last minute notification and regret deeply the trouble we have caused our Steam customers who were looking forward to the online functionality. We will update the website with a new release date as soon as it is set.”

You can try the beta version of Dead or Alive featuring online play, which is totally useless as it just breaks the game completely.

“We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience and thank you for your understanding,” the developer said.

The real question is why was the game released without the online feature? Why was the port so bad? Maybe for some quick cash.
