Dota 2 Prize Pool Reaches $10,000,000 Within 30 days

The prize pool for Dota 2 has reached for 10,000,000 within 30 days. This is done by Valve selling Compendiums which have numerous items within them. The lowest Compendium is $9.99 which contain numerous items such as HUD skins and courier, gameplay challenges and a chest whereas the $26.99 comes with a pet and additional treasures. You can also buy levels which increases you to earn additional Immortal items, new emotions, loading screens, hero taunts, new ability effects, and more. Each level costing $2.49 for 5 levels, $,4.99 for 11 and $9.99 for 24 levels. Buying the compendium, you get one of each chest, but leveling the compendium up increases the number of chests you get.

dota2-Compendiums The challenges that come with the Compendiums involve predictions of the qualifiers/main event itself (Winners of the Qualifiers in each region) with that the main event itself are categories to predict. It is more specific such as most kills or most hero picked.

They have included a new feature witch is compendium coins which can’t be purchased with real money but instead earned by doing challenges that are refreshed every 5 days.
